Beaumont House Windsor
Principal Hayley appointed Studio Moren as architects and lead designers to create a unique upscale hotel and conference venue at Beaumont Estate in Old Windsor. Set in 40 acres of landscaped grounds which date back to the 14th Century, the estate was originally a private residence, then a school and latterly a training college. The brief was to develop a master-plan to optimize public spaces and hotel bedrooms within the envelope of Grade II listed Beaumont House.
The key feature in the project was the discovery of the original school chapel which had been walled up by previous owners. This was carefully restored and reinstated to become the grand feature of the new hotel and has since become a signature venue for weddings and events. Additional phases included new meeting and conference facilities and the design and rollout of 72 bespoke bedrooms.
