Mark Wood
Mark has extensive expertise working on hotel, student accommodation (PBSA), residential, heritage, office and mixed-use developments. As an experienced design architect, Mark contributes considerably to the design direction within the studio.
Recently, Mark has secured planning permission for the Grade II Listed Wood Street luxury hotel in the City of London; the Guardsman Hotel, Mayfair; and a new aparthotel for City ID in Victoria. He has also achieved planning approval for New Marlborough Yard, a new-build Premier Inn and re-instated pocket park in Southwark; and the Grade II Listed The Dixon, Autograph Collection hotel, a conversion and extension of Tower Bridge Magistrates Court.
Currently he is busy delivering several high-end PBSA schemes, More House, Louise House and The Royal in Norwich, and a large residential development in Great Oakley, Essex.
“I very much enjoy working collaboratively. I seek to avoid repetition or monotonous design by taking a bespoke approach to each project considering the specific brief, as well as context and narrative, to create designs that fully reflect place.”
