Herbert Lui

Herbert has extensive experience working on challenging sites and complex mixed-use developments. He has an all-round awareness of stakeholders’ aspirations and a proven ability to convert site constraints into opportunities. As a design leader he is involved in many aspects of the studio’s work including initial feasibility studies, concept design and maximising planning potentials. At Studio Moren, he has mentored many young designers, formed lasting relationships with industry peers and earned the trust of his clients. 

Originally from Singapore, Herbert completed his architectural education at the Architectural Association in London and has been a key member of Studio Moren for over 20 years. He brings his hospitality experience to a range of sectors including hotels, residential and alternative residential. Internationally, Herbert has focussed on projects in Asia and Africa, from Benin, Nigeria to Senegal.
