Farran Keenan

As an Associate at Studio Moren, Farran takes a considered approach to architecture and design, integrating her knowledge of conservation and heritage architecture with a broad background across multiple sectors, including commercial offices, healthcare, residential and retail.
In 2019, she became a Conservation Registrant after completing a RIBA-accredited Conservation and Heritage course. She is also an active ‘Woman in Architecture’ UK mentor, supporting the development and progression of women within the profession.
Farran combines her passion for heritage and conservation architecture with an active interest in the evolving debates surrounding the climate crisis, materiality and responsible construction. Her approach is informed by an appreciation of traditional craft and making, and by the ways in which knowledge, materials and techniques can be carried forward and reinterpreted within contemporary architectural practice.
Her recent admission as a Freeman of the City of London and joining of the Worshipful Company of Wheelwrights has furthered this interest in the relationship between craft, material and the built environment, bringing a contemporary perspective to traditions rooted in making and skilled workmanship.
