Ed Murray

Ed is an accomplished architect with a broad portfolio spanning independent operators and major global hospitality brands. From boutique boltholes to large-scale urban hotels, he has delivered projects across the full hospitality spectrum, always with a focus on quality, collaboration, and vision.

At Studio Moren, Ed plays a key role in shaping both projects and people. He is part of the studio’s inclusivity steering group, mentors emerging talent, and works closely with colleagues on personal development and team culture. His ability to lead complex, multidisciplinary teams – paired with his natural rapport with clients, consultants, and contractors – makes him an indispensable interface and respected presence at every stage of a project.

Recent highlights include delivering the UK’s first Hyde hotel for Ennismore and the first Marriott-branded Westin in the country.
