David Harte

David is Head of Interior Design at Studio Moren and a driving force behind some of the practice’s most ambitious design work. He brings a distinctive vision to hospitality interiors – from five-star luxury hotels and extended-stay concepts, build-to-rent and emerging lifestyle brands – always underpinned by a sharp eye for detail and a strong sense of place.

Since joining the studio as a graduate, David has risen through the ranks to lead design on projects across the UK, Europe, Africa and the Middle East. His portfolio spans collaborations with global operators and one-off independents alike, reflecting both commercial understanding and creative agility. Current projects include Bertrand’s Townhouse, an Autograph Collection Resort in Eastern Europe, and two major hotels in London: Hotel Indigo & Suites and Voco Waterloo.

David is passionate about interiors that pair beauty with function. He believes the best spaces are those that resonate with their context, operate sustainably, and leave a lasting impression on the people who use them. He is equally committed to building strong relationships with clients, collaborators and project teams – recognising that successful design is as much about trust and dialogue as it is about materials and finishes.
