Topping out of Tribe Manchester hotel
On 2nd March 2023 MY Construction hosted the topping out of the 412 bedroom Tribe hotel at Manchester Airport. This landmark 9 storey building within the Manchester Airport City masterplan will be the first newbuild Accor branded Tribe in the UK.
It was a thankfully dry day as the team posed for pictures on the rooftop and inspected MY Constructions’ offsite fabricated bathroom pods and palettes containing the distinctive woven pattern aluminium façade.
Completion is on track for early 2024.
It was great to reach this milestone and to see the design start to come to life, the building will be a prominent landmark in its new setting, and a great addition to Manchester Airport Groups regeneration plan. We now look forward to finishing the external cladding and shifting focus to the hotels interior for the Spring 2024 opening.
